Dal 12 al 15 settembre si terrà a Viareggio (LU) il 2010 IEEE International Symposium on Robots and Human Interactive Communication - IEEE RO-MAN.
L'evento si terrà presso il "Principe di Piemonte" ed organizzato dal Laboratorio PERCRO della Scuola Superiore S.Anna.
RO-MAN è una serie di conferenze di robotica (http://www.ro-man.org/) che portano avanti gli aspetti di comunicazione tra robot ed esseri umani, coniugando ricerca scientifica, tecnologia ed aspetti di
interazione uomo-macchina.
Call-for-Paper
The 19th IEEE International Symposium on Robot and Human Interactive Communication will be held in Viareggio, Italy at "Principe di Piemonte" Congress Center.
The theme of the conference is
Thinking and acting together: cognitive and cooperative interaction between human and robots
IMPORTANT DATES
Submission of sessions/workshops/tutorials: 15th Feb, 2010
Submission of oral papers: 1st March, 2010
Notification of acceptance: 11th June, 2010
All final contributions due: 12th July, 2010
PAPERS
Prospective authors should submit their papers electronically in PDF format. Six pages in the standard IEEE format are allowed for each paper, including figures. A maximum of 2 additional pages is permitted at extra charge. Each paper can be accompanied by a short
(3-4 minute) video. Detailed instructions for paper submission via PaperPlaza are available at http://www.ro-man2010.org.
SPECIAL SESSIONS
Special sessions on advanced topics and innovative applications will be considered, consisting of four to six related papers submitted through the regular review process. Prospective organizers should include a brief statement of purpose for the sessions as well as the abstracts
of the papers to be included.
WORKSHOPS AND TUTORIALS
Proposals for half-day or full-day tutorials and workshops on topics relevant to the conference are envised.
DEMONSTRATIONS
There could be space to host interactive demonstrations at the conference site.
