International Defense and Homeland Security Simulation Workshop
The European Modelling & Simulation Symposium - EMSS
The European Modeling and Simulation Symposium is one of the most important Simulation Appointment in Europe. As tradition the conference focuses on Modeling & Simulation in Industry taking into consideration both applications and theoretical approaches.
The conference proposes a multi-sides perspective to Modeling & Simulation environment. Tracks organization is intended to cover different research macro-areas dedicated to Industrial Engineering, Effective Design, Business, Economy and Finance, Medicine, Methodologies, Techniques and Applications. Such framework gives to scientists, technicians and users the opportunity to interact, collaborate on the most challenging research topics in the field of Modeling & Simulation.
The International Conference on Modeling & Applied Simulation- MAS
The MAS Conference concentrates on applied Modeling & simulation (M&S) and computer technologies; application fields include logistics, supply chain management, production control, business and industrial organization. In 1996 DIP was driving the European Simulation Symposium into the Simulation in Industry Event for demonstrating the potential of M&S applied in real world; in similar way MAS is an International Conference in M&S Applications.
MAS was established in 2002 as a joint event to HMS2002 Bergeggi, Italy in order to provide an opportunity for Project Meetings (i.e. IEPAL, LESNEX, WILD). Several edition was held of MAS event during the past years (MAS2003 as a stand-along event, MAS2004 as part of I3M2004 Multiconference, MAS2005 in joint cooperation with I3M Conference in Marseille and MAS2006).
The MAS2007 was a joint event in cooperation with I3M2007 Multiconference.
In 2008 the conference moved to South Italy in Calabria and it is a joint event in I3M2008, co-locating HMS2008, EMSS2008 and MAS2008. In 2009 MAS was successfully organized in Tenerife, Canary Island, Spain and in 2010 MAS was held in Fes, Morocco.
In 2011 the conference moves to Rome (Italy) and it is organized in cooperation as joint event in I3M2011, co-locating HMS2011, EMSS2011 and MAS2011.
In this framework, worldwide specialist have the opportunity to present new advanced applications as well to work forward for establish new international co-operation and projects.
This event is the ideal framework for setting up European Community and International Projects and it could be used as a framework for hosting project review meeting and project exploitation. The audience includes both users, vendors and scientists operating in applying advanced techniques to industry, business and services.
The International Conference on Harbour, Maritime & Multimodal Logistics M&S - HMS
The HMS Conference concentrates on applications of simulation and computer technologies to logistics, supply chain management, multimodal transportation, maritime environment and industrial logistics. HMS Conference is a traditional event and it was held successfully worldwide, usually in the surroundings of major international ports (HMS1999 Genoa, HMS2000 Portofino, HMS2001 Marseille, HMS2002 Bergeggi, HMS2003 Riga, HMS2004 Rio de Janeiro, HMS2006 Barcelona, HMS2007 Bergeggi); however HMS foundations are even older, originally a "Harbour & Maritime Transport Workshop" was included as part of Simulation in Industry Conference, Genoa (1996) and then a "Modelling and Simulation within a Maritime Environment Conference" was organized in Riga during 1998; In 2008 the Conference moved to South Italy in HMS2008, in co-location with I3M2008, the event was a great success in term of quality and attendance; the 2009 edition was very successful in the Canary Island: Tenerife Spain and the 2010 was held in Fes (Morocco).
In 2011 the conference moves in Italy. HMS2010 is held in Rome and it is a joint event in I3M2011, co-locating HMS2011, EMSS2011 and MAS2011. In the past editions worldwide specialist had the opportunity to participate and interact to this important International Forum on Logistics.
The audience includes both users, vendors and scientists operating in applying advanced techniques to supply chains, logistics and handling facilities.
The International Conference on Integrated Modeling and Analysis in Applied Control and Automation
IMAACA 2011 will bring experts together for the purpose of presenting and discussing all type of application relevant control and automation problems emphasizing the role of model analysis as integral part of the complete design of the automated system. Particularly, it will focus on new concepts, methods, techniques, and tools conceived in order to support an integrative interplay of modeling, identification, simulation, system analysis and control theory in all the stages of system design.
DHSS 2011 is a workshop focusing on the advances and potential of using M&S within this frame work will bring experts together for the purpose of presenting and discussing all type of innovation related to the use of Modeling & Simulation in Defense and Homeland Security applications. DHSS will focus on new concepts, methods, techniques and tools for advancing in modeling & simulation sector
