5th International INTUITION Conference
“VR in Industry and Society: from research to application”
October 6 – 8, 2008
The International INTUITION 2008 Conference is organized by the INTUITION Network of Excellence on Virtual Reality and Virtual Environments for Future Workspaces (www.intuition-eunetwork.net). INTUITION features 58 partners from 15 countries across Europe, representing the key player in the field at technology, system, academia, research and industry level.
INTUITION 2008 follows on from the four very successful workshops held in Athens 2004, Paris 2005, Stuttgart 2006 and Athens 2007. This year, the Conference will include an open call for papers, tutorials and posters, as well as exhibitions from industrial partners and research projects in the wider area of Virtual Reality and Virtual Environments. The Conference will also feature keynote speeches by highly recognized researchers and authorities in the field of VR worldwide. Moreover, the conference is co-organized by two relevant entities: the Italian Association of Modelling and Simulation (MIMOS) and the Italian Automotive Technical Association (ATA).
You are invited to submit your papers, posters, projects, and proposals for tutorials under conference themes which include, but are not limited to:

Submissions of papers will be on-line at www.intuition2008.org, in PDF format only. Information about the submission procedure and formatting instructions will be available online at the said site. Accepted submissions (papers, sketches and posters) will be presented at the conference and published in the conference proceedings. Additionally, a selection of the best papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of a primary field Journal.
Tutorials will be half day in length and will be held on October 6th, 2008. It is envisaged that 2 tutorials will be overall accepted. If you wish to submit a proposal for a Tutorial, please contact the Tutorials Chair directly (Fabio Salsedo, firstname.lastname@example.org).
- June 16, 2008: Deadline for submissions of Papers
- July 7, 2008: Notification of acceptance and comments
- July15, 2008: Final paper submission in camera-ready format
